Baptism
Baptism (bap.tizm) (n) The act of obedience where a person shows others they have joined God's team by putting their faith in Jesus.
We want kids to always remember this special day as they join the greatest team ever-God's Team! And we want their greatest fans-Family-there too cheering them on during this special step in their faith journey.
We offer Children's Baptism Classes throughout the year. After completing the children's baptism class, your child will have the opportunity to be baptized by their favorite small group leader, PowerHouse staff member, SCCC Sr. Pastor, or other individual who has asked Jesus into their life and who has also been baptized. Each child getting baptized will receive a certificate and special gift from Mr. Bob, the Director of Children's Ministry-Elementary, to help them remember their special day.
- Must be at least 3rd-5th grade
- Must have attended the Next Steps (Children's Baptism Class)
