Next Steps

Once a child has indicated a personal decision to trust Jesus as their Forever Friend and he/she is interested in finding out more about Baptism, they along with their parents may attend the children's baptism class-Next Steps. During the class, kids will: 

• Discover what it means to be a Christian
• Discuss the meaning and importance of Baptism
• Develop an understanding of the importance of a relationship with God 

Each child will participate in Next Steps with their parent to help them better understand the information and also have the opportunity to ask questions about any part of Next Steps, including their decision to accept Jesus as their Forever Friend. Because this is such an important part of a child's journey with Jesus, we require that all kids attend this class before they are baptized at Seneca Creek Community Church.
